Ive sold my Contax G2, I wasnt using the camera nearly enough myself, and its not the sort of camera that should be left in a cupboard gathering dust. But I can now look back on a few shots I took with it.
I found the Contax to be a particularly fantastic camera for taking a series of portraits. I took it with me to many meetings with people Id never met before, where the aim was for both of us to be happy with the photographic results.
Ive already shared some photos taken with this camera here, but now, as a farewell, Im putting together a collection:
I wonder if anyone ever uses this option or looks at other peoples posts (Let me know!! )

Between the first photo or series taken with my Contax G2
and the last series,
there was, of course, a lot in between. And lots of photos and portraits.
For example, a series of photos I took just after my Contax G2 had been repaired
(one of the shutter curtains would sometimes get stuck)
The test went well, everything was sharp and fast again...
Oh the picture must have been on Insta before but we don't post anything on that again.

Very enjoyable painting session today. Of course over the course of one sitting, there is loads Id love to have done better. However, i believe there are some parts of it, color and edge treatment, that I find alright.
The bars are where the night crows gather in flocks, spreading their feathers and craw craw Kramladen, take me to the flashing lights later, I will stay for a while and roost later. It is good to be a bird out in the dark, plock plock my beer and hang upside down like a pirate's parrot drunk on timeless moments.
